| What makes us capable traders is our desire to learn something each day about the market and ourselves. We are very good at interpreting our emotions and using them to our advantage. Through our live’s experiences, we have been able to increase our emotional intelligence. We have been witness to and personally experienced millions of dollars of trading winnings and losses. We have been fortunate to have been groomed by some of the best in the business. It is unclear if our trading success is owed to our time spent in the market and paying our dues or from our experiences in teaching other traders. A combination of both for sure. Being extremely passionate does not hurt either. Teaching has enabled us to recognize the “mistakes” that are most common and allowed us to relive them over and over through others. To gain re-enforcement without it costing me profits. We do believe that you must make the “mistake” at least once to understand it but you can recognize the mistakes through others. Understanding the difference will be paramount in your trading success. Teaching others has also allowed us to pin-point the mental transformations that occur in successful traders and prevent us from falling into some of the mental traps that occur each trading day.
